Hello Aegina Lovers, my name is Charbel Obeid from Lebanon, I’m a profesional F&B Cost Controller and I first visited Aegina in September 2018.

How did I choose Aegina for my vacation?

To be honest, I wanted to visit Greece but I hadn’t heard of Aegina before. So I started my research and I found weloveaegina on facebook and I was immediately attracted to the island. I chatted with them a lot on the messenger and they gave me a load of information. It was really thanks to weloveaegina and especially Elina who was very helpful. was “the key to Aegina” for me, because when I started my research and found this page it gave me a lot of information I needed to know to get there. Through weloveaegina I discovered the best restaurants, the beaches etc.. in addition to the comments inside the page which help lot.

What connects me with the island is…

the beauty of its nature, the clear beaches and the amazing lovely people of the island that gave me the feeling that I belong to Aegina and that visiting it another time is a must. I even made many friends there and we are always in contact together ❤ I really hope I visit Aegina again soon.

From the first moment I arrived there…

I noticed a special identity to this beautiful island, which made me feel in love with it. I feel I have to mention again that the citizens of this island make you feel at home! They are the best ever, generous, cute, beautiful, and very helpful; the people of Aegina give the tourist a very beautiful image about Greece.

My two favourite spots are…

the port of Perdika because it is very picturesque with clear waters and Agia Marina zone because it is full of life, beautiful souvenir shops, a lot of restaurants offering authentic Greek food and amazing fresh seafood. There is also a hidden heaven in Aegina, Moni Island, it is a small island opposite Perdika with turquoise waters, almost completely untouched! It is a small heaven attached to the original heaven, Aegina 🙂

My Aegina in one word/ phrase is…

Peace, love, faith ❤

I love Aegina because…

of its amazing atmosphere and beauty in all levels.
