Pachia Rachi (or Pachiorachi)
It has been officially classified as a “traditional settlement” and is a village of Aegina that is unlike all others. Once the birthplace of 1821 freedom-fighters, today it is a focal point for the congregation of artists and international exponents of culture.
A mountain village with its characterful church and a small gem of a theatre where performances of the highest quality take place. The village has not stores and on the cobbled streets car traffic is not allowed. Many of the houses have been or are being restored making the village an example of aesthetic beauty.
