Carnival in Aegina
Every year during the Carnival, a lavish procession is organized with imaginative crews and thematic diversity. Each crew parading has its own adorned float and is dressed in matching style while dancing, singing and enjoying the Carnival.
Following the parade, many musical and theatrical performances are held, and the celebration ends with the burning of the Karnavalos. Although small in size, it is big in terms of inspiration and performance; the Carnival of Aegina invites you to enjoy it. For an even more authentic setting, the afternoon of the same day, the carnival revelry continues in Mesagros.
And of course, on Ash Monday, traditional Koulouma take place full of appetizers, wine and kite-flying in the villages of Aegina.
