Freshly renovated and beautifully redesigned, Fyki Beach Restaurant enters its 8th season as the ultimate place to be in Aegina. Nestled in the lush green bay of Aiginitissa, under the shade of eucalyptus trees, Fyki blends earthy tones of ochre and brown with a natural landscape dotted with small cacti, prickly pears, and aloe in line with its philosophy: Fyki = Earth.

The space now embraces a warm, nature-inspired color palette that seamlessly blends into its surroundings. For the first time on the island, an open-air sushi bar has been introduced, serving traditional Japanese dishes daily. Guests can enjoy their sushi either in the specially designed sushi area or right on their sunbed. The sushi at Fyki truly stands out, expertly crafted and full of flavor, delivering a culinary experience that’s hard to find elsewhere.

This summer, Fyki’s gastronomic direction is led by chef Gerasimos Papagiannopoulos, who has curated a menu that marries Greek tradition with Mediterranean creativity. The brunch here is a standout, with must-try options like the impressive King Royal Eggs, fluffy pancakes with seasonal fruit and local honey, and savory French toast topped with avocado and fresh herbs.

We recommend the seabass fillet, the rich and flavorful octopus with Vinsanto wine, the indulgent individual lobster pasta, and the sea-sweet urchin pasta.
