Giannakides, Aposporides, Kanakides, Kapotides, Margaronides, Benakides, Freatsi are all villages of Aegina that are no longer inhabited. They were settlements of farmers and livestock breeders, scattered in the Aeginean mountains and of particular interest.
The Aegina nature and the endless view of land and sea are enough to fill you with energy anywhere on the island!
Bonus Tip
There are beautiful hiking trails that you can follow in order to explore these deserted settlements. During this journey, you will also encounter larger villages, each of which has its own history.
