For the last 10 years, Il Posto Aegina restaurant and its owner and founder, Gerasimos Kokkinis, have been offering the world of Aegina, locals and travelers alike, creative proposals of Italian and Greek products perfectly combined with the cuisine of the neighboring country.

You will find Il Posto Aegina in the beautiful square of Kypseli village, – where children still play carelessly – opposite the Cultural Center. The idea for Il Posto was born through different gastronomy trips around the world, but also the passion of Gerasimos Kokkinis and Beatrice Fabricatore for Italy. Authentic Italian cuisine, Mediterranean tradition, respect for pure raw materials and local products are the ingredients for delicious and unique dishes.

Everything at the Il Posto Aegina restaurant is carefully thought out, even the number of tables, so that each guest receives the ideal service, as everything is handmade and prepared at the time of the order.

Enjoy fresh home-made pasta in a wide variety, water buffalo meat from Lake Kerkini, wonderful combinations in fresh salads. Be sure to try one of Il Posto’s mushroom dishes, such as Risotto with wild mushrooms and black truffle oil. Among the must dishes are the tagliatelle with wild garlic and fresh chanterelles (wild mushrooms from Grevena), the linguini with fresh black summer truffle that you will not find anywhere else in Aegina, the pasta with saffron shrimp and pistachio pesto, as well as the tagliatelle with cuttlefish ink and smoked salmon.
