Having left behind the port of Aegina in the direction of Souvala, shortly after the house of Nikos Kazantzakis in the Livadi area, we come across with the Archaeological Site with the Tombs of the Aeginian warriors of Salamis battleship.

In the naval battle of Salamis, the Aeginian warriors distinguished themselves for their courage as well as their naval power. It is said that they were in such a pivotal position that they had no intention of letting any Persian ships escape.

Although the archaeological site remains abandoned and unknown to many, it is definitely worth our visit.
