An extension of Agia Marina towards the hinterland of Aegina, Alones is a medium-sized village of particular interest.

Vegetation, quietness, authenticity, traditional houses of the (just) 254 inhabitants and two very good taverns to choose from.

The food is amazing, while the local wine and the green scenery when combined with the warm hospitality of the locals create a very beautiful atmosphere.

• Alones has horse stables, from where you can also go riding on specially organized explorations and enjoy a very different aspect of the island.

• As soon as you leave the village, follow the sign to Agios Efstathios and soon you will find yourself by the river while on your way you will meet the church of Agios Panteleimonas, one of the most famous churches on Aegina.
