Megalochori (meaning “Big village” in Greek) is the most central village of Agistri, the port that welcomes visitors onto the island. Megalochori beach is a long one (maybe the longest in Agistri) pebbly in some parts and sandy in others, with a small organized area with sunbeds.

Megalochori attracts a lot of people both on the beach and in its shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, shops etc so it is a good choice if you are looking for convenience. However, in Megalochori you can also find some quiet spots to relax and enjoy your swimming – or your walks.
