Here, traditional homemade flavors from mom meet the inspiration and creativity of the new generation through a carefully selected variety of products you won’t find anywhere else on Aegina.

The hostess Michaela, daughter of Argyris and Eleni from the well-known Alkioni tavern, has filled the shop with genuine Aegina treats from homemade jams and spoon sweets made with care, to rusks, olive oil, spices, wine, tsikoudia, and a wide variety of pistachio products like pistachio butter, liqueurs, bars, truffles, loukoumi, pasteli, as well as unique creations such as pistachio pickles and BBQ sauces.

You can sit at the outdoor tables, enjoy the view, and relax with a milkshake in special flavors, a granita, or a frozen daiquiri. The ice cream stands out, available only here: pistachio with praline, wafer, and strawberries, topped with a unique Dubai coating! Yum!

At Mama’s Shop you will also find ice creams by Cherouvim Orini Aegina, various types of cheese, creams, yogurts, and other local traditional dairy products. You will also find Aegina-themed souvenirs!

It’s also worth discovering Mama’s Shop’s “little sibling” just a few steps down, under the Alkioni tavern. There you will find branded bags, leather sandals, clothes for any time of day, beach accessories, decorative items, and jewelry, as well as after sun and after bath body oils. It is the natural extension of a place born from a love for the authentic, the Greek, and the handmade.
