Agia Aikaterini: Small female Monastery
The Monastery of Agia Aikaterini lies in the Kontou valley and is surrounded by very tall cypress trees. Here once stood the Temple of Aphrodite. It is a small monastery in which only 10 nuns live. It is very close to the famous Monastery of Agios Nektarios, on the right-hand side on the road to Souvala.
